A position with a difference Use your experience, knowledge and professional networks to drive career focussed internship opportunities Join a passionate team with a drive for excellenceIf you want a role that will allow you to combine your experience with your desire to help develop the skills, capabilities and career paths of young people moving into employment -then look no further, this is absolutely the role for youRedfish is the employment team of New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) and we are looking for an Internship Manager to drive, set up and manage our formal student internships.Your focus will be on the development of internship opportunities for NZMA students across a range of industry sectors, including hospitality and business, as well in-class delivery to prepare students and ensure they are able to maximise the value from the experience. You will use your well-developed industry contacts, work directly with employers, and actively support students before, during and after their internships.Reporting to the Director of Redfish, you will work closely with the teams Business Development Manager to identify potential internship partners and secure internship opportunities that add value to their businesses and provide students with great learning in work experiences. You will also drive and manage in-class delivery, and support students throughout their internships.To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced professional, with well-developed industry networks. You will have true passion and a drive to support young people into employment and be successful in their own right.
