Spa Ayurda is a wellnessboutique spa in the heart of Ponsonby that offers deluxe facials, therapeutic massages & other traditional Ayurvedic healing treatments.
Our business is growing and as such, a wonderful opportunity awaits a suitable applicant with a passion for the beauty and wellbeing industry.
We are searching for a hands-on therapist who loves to perform beauty as well as holistic treatments and thrives in being part of a small professional yet friendly team.
Interested applicants will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
* Be New Zealand Standard Qualified or International equivalent in the Beauty Industry
* Have at least 2 years experience within the spa environment
* Certified to perform waxing and/or threading services
* Be able to perform a very high standard of treatment * Show a commitment to your profession and be reliable
* People and time management skills
* Customer focused must have top quality customer service skills* Attention to detail & excellent communication skills are a must
* A professional and mature presentation
* Pleasant, calm and friendly manner* Professional work ethics at all times
* Be a team player
* A willingness to learn and grasp new concepts
* Confidence to recommend & sell retail products
* Have sales experience* Understanding or knowledge of Ayurveda is an advantage
We are heading into the busy summer months. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their range of skills & abilities as well as contribute to growing our business. Additionally, it would be desirable for the successful applicant to hold a drivers license and minimum commitment to the position of 1-2 years is required. Ability to work Saturdays and some late nights is required.
