Our client, an iconic New Zealand organisation, provides critical information to industry in a timely manner and is now seeking to appoint this key role to support growth plans.
You will lead a growing AGILE development team that could total 18-20 Java developers and applications support people covering a range of Junior through to Team Lead backgrounds. This is a Development Manager role where you can influence, guide and manage a high performing team who are responsible for designing and developing solutions through to successful implementation.
You will ideally have had experience managing teams of 12+, in a Java Environment. Our client operates an AGILE development methodology environment, therefore experience with AGILE is key. Highly desirable is experience within the utilities, media or online/digital background sectors.
This is a key role that will see you deliver important development projects for existing and future business streams.
