The owners of this 4 star qualmark motel in Aucklands central suburbs have seen great success in recent years, and as such are currently building an additional 24 room property to increase market share.
Due for completion in the next few months, they are looking for an experienced motel/hotel professional to identify new business opportunities for both properties as well as oversee the operation of the new corporate motel.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Recent corporate hotel/motel sales and marketing experience within the NZ market;
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and winning new business opportunities and developing existing accounts;
- Solid involvement in the development and execution of marketing plans;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proven experience developing and managing a small team;
- Experience working within motel/hotel front office will be looked upon favourably;
- Adaptable, energetic and enthusiastic about the challenges and rewards that working with a new property brings!
As this is a new position, there is a real opportunity to take this role and make it your own! The owners envisage a split of three days motel operations, two days business development. This is a Mon-Fri role; however some flexibility around occasional weekend work and travel may be required.
