This is a newly created role that reports to our Wine Marketing Manager and is basedin Newmarket, Auckland.In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for building capability across the wine portfolio and will have responsibility for: designing wine training courses for key customers and internal Lion staff, ongoing wine education of Lion employees, supporting sales leads with sell-in conversations for key priority customers, supporting design and implementation of a best in class wine portfolio to maximise share growth and profit.You will need to demonstrate your strength in the followingareas:- Delivery of effective presentations- Excellent communication skills- Thorough knowledge of wine market, brands, competitor activities- In depth knowledge of wine making techniques, styles, characteristics- Conducting disciplined wine tasting in a compelling wayIf you feel you have the necessary skills and competencies to fillthis role we look forward to receiving your application.
