This is a critical role within a small government Ministry that has an exciting mandate and a high profile work programme.As the sole operational policy advisor in the organisation, you will be responsible for developing operational policies (e.g. guidelines, service delivery models) that enable the effective delivery of our strategic priorities – ensuring that policy is fit for purpose, relevant and delivers tangible benefits. Were keen to hear from you if you have a proven track record in government policy development in a similar role, and bring:
- excellent relationship management skills – able to interface with the broader business (including senior level people) and feed back into policy
- a strong understanding of the processes of government – particularly around operatioanl policy development
- high intellectual ability combined with a pragmatic approach
