My client provides a range of community and hospital based Kaupapa Maori, bicultural, pan cultural and mainstream treatment service delivery options, for people in the Tainui rohe who are experiencing mental health difficulties.They are keen to find compassionate, enthusiastic, mature minded, and motivating individuals looking for a positive change. There are roles currently available in both Adult and Youth service areas.So if you are looking for role which will challenge you to Apply knowledge and skill from practice, theory and research to all interventions Interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary Team and Service membersDemonstrate effective communication and documentation in service provisionMaintain safe cultural practice and develop your cultural knowledge Extend own knowledge and skills working with Maori whanau in relation to mental health.Develop and deliver specialist group treatment programmes Formulate therapeutic interventions in consultation with team, whanau and extended whanauUse the MSE assessment tool in your work to assist with risk managementThe ideal candidates will have NZQA qualification at Degree level and current registration with DAPAANZ, NZAC or willingness to become registered.
