We are seeking an accomplished Buyer / Purchasing Officer with replenishment experience, who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the timely supply and replenishment of inventory to enable full supply to our foodservice customers.
You will have superb communication skills, be highly organised, a team player and have great computer and numeric capabilities. You will have good knowledge of the Purchase Officer’s function and be fast and accurate with data entry.
Above all you will be great at problem solving, sourcing best prices through smart buying and negotiating with suppliers.
Main duties are;
- purchasing stock
- sourcing new products
- managing slow moving and specialty lines within your category
- building relationships with suppliers
- working closely with our sales and customer service teams, inwards goods, accounts payable and other members of the purchasing team
