Are you motivated and passionate and wanting to make a difference for whanau. Te Arawa Whanau Ora is looking for an Establishment Manager to provide leadership for Te Arawa Whanau Ora. Your role will be to lead and position Te Arawa Whanau Ora to fulfil its vision of whanau leading, determining and managing the achievement of their own goals and mission of delivering whanau-centred services in the Rotorua district based on a kaupapa Maori worldview. Te Arawa Whanau Ora is a roopu of nine providers based in Rotorua providing a range of services traversing health, education, social services, justice, sport and recreation. Our vision reflects our shared view that our role is to assist whanau to realise and sustain their own wellbeing. The Establishment Manager is a unique opportunity to be part of a new and exciting national initiative to transform the way services are delivered to whanau. You will be working with a credible and well-established Provider collective in Rotorua. You will oversee all aspects of the organizational leadership of Te Arawa Whanau Ora, including delivery of the Programme of Action and Business Case for the next three years. To be successful with this appointment, you will bring: Strategic leadership and experience in establishing new entities and complex projects and the ability to design, develop and implement whanau centric services Strong Maori cultural competence and knowledge of Te Arawa kawa, institutions and development needs A proven track record in facilitating and managing change An ability to manage a team to achieve results and make a difference for whanau Excellent communication and stakeholder management to build trust, confidence and hold sensitive discussions Business acumen to prudently manage operations A relevant tertiary qualification A job description is available on request from Bethany Pitman-Brewer, Project Co-ordinator at bethany.pitman@korowai.org.nz.
