Case Leaders are key contributors to the clinical team in a youth justice residence, overseeing and directing the positive rehabilitation and growth of the young people ordered to stay at the residence.
The focus of the residence is on achieving positive change in young people through education, skill development, vocational and employment programmes and therapeutic interventions, all with the goal of successful transition back into the community. Case Leaders play a key role working with care staff and other professionals to plan and deliver the change.
Case Leaders are responsible for:
- Completing assessments
- Leadership and delivery of all aspects of young person plans
- Co-ordinating multi-agency support services a young person requires
- Preparing the young person for a successful transition back to the community.
