An opportunity has arisen within the Claims team at OnePath.This a chance for a bright, numerate individual to get into financial services and joinour organisationas a Claims Administrator.Your role will be to provide effective and efficient administration of claims, including re-assessments, payment calculations and file follow-ups & maintenance. Through your dealings with internal and external parties, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supportYour accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing payment schedules for claims
- Entering claims to register and maintain throughout progress of file
- Telephone support for all policyholders and sales staff in respect of life and disability claims management
- Identify outstanding requirements for ongoing claimsand initiate follow up process correspondence or telephone follow-up as appropriate
- Build collaborative relationships with colleagues to enable objectives to be achieved.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Sound Administration skills
- Competent in data entry and word processing
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication and telephone skills.
- Sound numeric skills
- Understand the practices within the Life Insurance industry an advantage
Your experience in an administrative or operational role will stand you in good stead, and any experience in life insurance or claims will be highly regarded.
