Land Information New Zealand (LINZ)s purpose is to maintain and build confidence in property rights in land and geographic information as well as encourage land markets to develop and mature. Our work supports activities as diverse as buying a house, navigating the seas and sending emergency services to the right place.
Have you considered using your legal experience in land law in a different way? In this senior role, you will provide technical leadership and develop the processing centre teams capability in handling titles dealings through coaching, training and mentoring with both internal and external customers. A thirst for best practice, new knowledge, an eye to emerging issues and attention to detail and accuracy under pressure are essential. You should also have a process improvement approach keeping in mind clear audit and reporting requirements and ensuring legislative changes and standards are being met.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Extensive experience in property/land law
Professional judgment and an effective communication style
Good relationship management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
A can do, problem solving approach for all parties.
A legal qualification is essential for this role.
