We are currently seeking a hungry, result driven Area Manager to manage pharmacy customers across the Central/East & South Auckland region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales budgets, market share targets, distribution and financial objectives through the effective representation of the company and its brands to the customers.
Key Responsibilities will involve:
  • Achieving financial and market share by brand in all stores.
  • Building strong business relationships with your customers by adding value i.e. promotional offers, shelf management & planogram implementation.
  • Actively monitoring and reporting on competitors and general market activity.
  • Monitoring product quality in the marketplace e.g. age specifications, storage conditions, stock presentation and levels.
  • Implementing promotional activity as well as brand advertising and merchandising by liaising with the Sales Manager.
  • Maximising new sales opportunities by identifying and developing new and existing business.
The Successful Candidate will have:
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience sales and/or merchandising experience in an Pharmacy or FMCG environment.
  • Solid knowledge of the Health & Beauty Category.
  • Strong knowledge of Trade Maths and the impact discounts and volumes have on profit.
  • Great interpersonal skills with a positive can do attitude.
  • Exceptional planning skills, resilient personality and the ability to overcome customer objections.
  • Passion for the products you sell.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
