This role is all about developing our Parcels reseller marketing strategy and leading development, deployment of appropriate solutions and market offers. A key focus will be to ensure the growth of our Parcel based products within a rapidly expanding multi-service channel environment.
You will be responsible for growing new revenue along with the number and quality of resellers. In conjunction with our Channel team you will build exceptional business relationships with Resellers by developing and bringing solutions to market which ensure profitable outcomes for each party. Additionally you will also be responsible for commercial parcels customer acquisition in the Auckland region.
To be successful in this role we see you as having a achieved a Bachelors degree in Business or a relevant field combined with a minimum of three years Marketing experience managing products/services and prior experience negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and customers. You will also have had retail exposure, sales experience, Project Management experience and ideally working knowledge of parcels or with a relevant freight channel business.
Your ability to identify the holistic environment the customer works within and the business development opportunities available will be of significant benefit to your future success
Other experience you will need to draw on includes:
- Building effective relationships with internal and external customers including negotiation skills in this area
- Confidence working in a fast paced, complex and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Ability to analyse both successes and failures for clues to improvement
