Gerard Roofs, a part of Roof Tile Group, is the global leader in the metal roof tile industry. We are part of Fletcher Building, a diversified global building industry company.
This is an exciting opportunity if you are an experienced sales or national accounts manager, (preferably within the building industry) to progress your career. This key position within Gerard Roofs is fundamental to the growth strategy of the New Zealand business.
The Strategic Account Manager will lead the Gerard Roofs relationship with our current national accounts across New Zealand, as well as creating new business opportunities. You will also help develop channel to market strategies as we enter a strong growth phase for Gerard Roofs.
Critical success factors include market share growth by national account, profitability by customer, integration into our targeted customers businesses, and the refinement of channel to market opportunities through traditional building merchants. You will operate closely with our national sales and marketing teams and our distributor network to ensure effective delivery of plans and objectives to key customers. While the role is primarily based in Auckland you will hold a national responsibility for the Gerard Roofs strategic account customers.
The ability to develop strong and profitable business based relationships with customers is key to this role, combined with your ability to be effective in influencing key internal and external stakeholders.
