Villa Maria Estate Ltd is New Zealands most awarded winery.We are looking for an Outbound Telesales Representative to join our sales team, in a newly created position that combines cold and warm calling opportunities.Based at our award-winning winery and vineyard park, minutes from Auckland International Airport, this is a permanent position with some flexibility in the hours worked.Reporting to the Sales Leader, you will actively seek opportunities for Villa Maria products nationwide, strengthening existing relationships and generating new customers.To be successful in this role, youll be a natural people person, possess an excellent way with words, and have the ability to build rapport on the phone. As well as generating sales, you will be required to record information, update our client database, complete administration and perform follow-up activities as required.You must:
- Have proven experience delivering excellent customer service, preferably in an outbound calling environment
- Have a confident attitude, and be comfortable speaking to prospective and existing clients
- Have exceptional communication skills, phone manner and proven sales ability
- Be self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
- Have the ability to manage a customer database and ongoing customer relationships
- Possess excellent attention to detail, time management, and administrative skills
Preferably you will have a passion for New Zealand wine. Experience in the grocery, liquor or hospitality industry would be an advantage.Only applicants with the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered.
