The North and South Island Assessor Educator Training positions are critical roles within the organisation. Planning and delivering assessment training workshops and one on one engagement with assessors, educators and verifiers will help ensure that training completion rates exceed target levels. Other responsibilities include;- Develop and deliver specialist assessor training.- Ensure that potential assessors are appropriate and supported through the process.- Identify new assessors / verifiers to ensure the appropriate skills and numbers are available across the country.- Provide the appropriate level of resources to educator groups.- Continue to evaluate the quality of assessment and verification.- Participate in the development of qualifications to ensure consistency of assessment and credibility of qualification.Previous experience in a training environment is necessary including exposure to working to NZQA standards.
