We are looking to appoint a recent graduate who wishes to specialise and provide legal advice on employment matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to receive on-the-job training in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be well supported in your development by our Senior Lawyer in the Dunedin office and the wider team in Invercargill and Queenstown.
The primary focus of this role is to provide superior quality legal advice to clients on matters such as organisational restructuring, disciplinary processes, dismissals, and other employment issues. The right person will also prepare submissions and participate in personal grievances and other claims in the Employment Relations Authority.
The successful candidate will preferably have been admitted to the bar, have strong initiative and drive, be an excellent communicator and possess the necessary enthusiasm to always go the extra mile in providing the best service possible to our clients.
