The Immigration Manager is a position that influences the quality of service delivery, systems, and processes in the INZ Border Branch located at Christchurch International Airport. The manager is responsible for leading a team of six staff who work approximately 18 hours a day, seven days a week on rotating rosters; reporting to the Branch Manager in Auckland.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in:
- Successfully leading a team in a service provision environment;
- Superb relationship management with peers internally and stakeholders externally;
- Making difficult decisions in a pressured environment;
- Implementing and monitoring strategies and processes designed to improve productivity, effectiveness and deliver excellent service;
- Excellent communication verbally and in writing;
- Motivating and effectively managing a team of people including coaching and developing people to achieve personal and organisational goals.
