Are you an effective communicator who enjoys working with children? Do you have experience facilitating holiday or after school programmes?We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and fun-seeking Programme Leader to join our close-knit team at West Wave Recreation Centre.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of exciting activities for children aged 5 – 14 years in a fun, caring and safe environment. At West Wave we pride ourselves in providing unique, structured holiday and afterschool programmes.
To be part of our energetic and upbeat team, you must be a keen team player with a flexible approach and the ability to use your initiative to facilitate programmes for children.
This position requires commitment as follows:
- During school holidays for a minimum of 20 hours per week, and up to 40 hours anywhere between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm
- During school terms for three hours between 3pm and 6pm
The opportunity for additional hours may also be required so flexibility is paramount.
An understanding of Health and Safety procedures and a first aid certificate is crucial to be considered for this outstanding opportunity.Whilst a lifeguard award is not essential, it is highly regarded as many of our activities are based in the pool.
