Our client is seeking a health & safety specialist to develop & maintain the health and safety programme for their mine site on the West Coast of the South Island.Your main goal will be to implement the company health & safety vision, strategy and policies in conjunction with New Zealand mining OH&S standards. You will also be a promoter of a safety conscience mindset on site through providing safety specific training and advice. You will be an expert in auditing these strategies and produce high quality reporting.Preferably you will have a tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma in occupational health & safety or similar) combined with specific experience in managing the OH&S programme for a mine site or similar industry.
