Our client is one of New Zealand’s largest independent accounting, audit, business advisory and tax consulting firms, with offices across the country. These offices work proactively, especially in areas of training and consulting advice, to share leading edge skills and knowledge. Here in Christchurch the practice is well established with a team of 6 Directors and 40 staff, offering a full range of business advisory audit/assurance and taxation services to a diverse client base.This part time role will ideally suit a person who has gained the previous audit experience and may see this as an opportunity to get back into the wokrforce or conversely a role that will offer more flexibility and a wider range of involvement working with different clients. while the major part of this role is the completion of interim and annula client audits, the opportunity will be there are diiferent periods of the year to do business advisory services assisgsnments and or one off accounting related worjfor clients. As such this role will offer a fair degree of variety and the scope to learn and develop new skills.As indicated we ideally see this role suiting someone who has previous audit experience and although this experience may relate to your earlier career, our client is happy to provide the fresher training and any other support that may be necessary. our clients offices are based in Riccarton and so access is easy with car parking provided on site. The remuneration level is negotiable and will be dependant on the levels of relevant audit experience but as a guide we would see the hourly rate in the range of $35.00 – $42.00 per hour.
