YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE
- Register, assess and process all insurance claims in accordance with service standards, claims procedures and guidelines from receipt through to recovery and closure
- Prepare and process claim payments for policies
- File management and ensure claims are reviewed in an appropriate time basis
- Authorise claim payments and batches – decide on acceptance or declinature
- Assist in maintaining claims procedure and documentation manuals for insurance claims processes and procedures
- Prepare cases and represent the company at Disputes Tribunal hearings
- Month end reporting on all insurance claims
YOU WILL NEED
- Demonstrated insurance claims experience – preferably motor vehicle/mechanical breakdown
- A strong customer service focus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to “go the extra mile”
- Great attention to detail
- Adaptable with the ability to multi task
- Sound MS Office, Word and Excel
