IT Manager
The main purpose of this role is to actively lead a leveraged Operations Technology Team, managing people, processes, systems and standards to deliver world class operational performance to clients across allocated technologies.
Our client delivers outstanding operational and technical services for outsourcing clients to exceed agreed service levels. This role requires carrying out work for clients remotely from leveraged teams and locations. Implementing tactical and transformational initiatives that will significantly improve our clients current operations capability.
You will be supporting the following building blocks: Build/Integration, Systems Management, Technical Support, Operations, Information Security Management, Database Management and Data Management.
You will provide a single of point of contact and escalation for all technical and service delivery to clients by Technology Team staff. Ensure client expectations are clearly understood internally and can be met in the required timeframes and to the required quality.
Ensure operational and technical delivery to clients is cost effective, timely and meets contracted service levels. Actively support Technical Delivery Managers in the delivery of services to clients. Demonstrate leadership and client focus by communicating the importance of putting clients first.
Lead and mentor a Technology Team to deliver client and business outcomes and drive team engagement to the high performance zone. Provide inspirational leadership to create an empowered, accountable and effective delivery culture within ICT Operations.
10 years experience in leadership positions driving operations disciplines in an organisation of substance.
Qualifications and/or experience in managing and leading technical staff in challenging environments.
Five years in middle management position directly running operational function.
