We are seeking a highly motivated community worker to coordinate the Western Bay of Plenty Community DV Collaboration (Tauranga Moana Abuse Prevention Strategy) for 30 hours per week for a fixed-term contract.Apply your skills to this multi agency community collaboration to design, develop and implement an inter-agency approach to address issues of family violence in our community.You will have knowledge of the dynamics of family violence and an in-depth understanding of the effects of family violence on individuals, families and communities and a real passion for preventing family violence. Your proven ability to establish and maintain meaningful community relationships and networks; advanced facilitation skills and knowledge of tikanga Maori that is consistent with local tikanga and kawa and their relevance to the prevention of family violence will bring real strength to this role.An ability to develop and follow good systems and processes, together with high level administrative and computer skills are essential.
