A senior position is being created for an experienced CAD operator with proven ability in 3D drawing and detailing. We are a leading-edge well established manufacturing company providing structural timber solutions to the construction industry. This position will be responsible for the development of accurate 3D drawings from concept design, client presentation through to detailed factory fabrication. Future CAD-CAM operation is envisaged. Also involved will be the extraction of materials quantities.This person will have a senior role working with the Operations Manager and reporting to Managing and Marketing Directors.Skills required: 3 5 years 3D experience with portfolio demonstrating past work. Ability to read and interpret structural drawings. Comprehensive knowledge of construction details, building technology. Experience in structural timber technology. Attention to detail and careful accuracy. Ability to work as part of a team, self motivated, able to communicate clearly. Capable of taking on non standard design challenges.
