Our client is an insurance organisation looking to appoint a Programme manager to develop and manage a number of different programmes, fit for purpose and supporting the short and long term strategy of the business and satisfying future customer needs.
Your prime responsibility will be creating and delivering the short term programme strategy supported with annual programme and marketing plans. You may need to re design programmes and initiatives and be able to influence or motivate the business to undertake improvements and identify risk areas.
A key part of your role will be coaching and supervising other staff as well as liaise with the distribution and delivery team. Along with the financial management there will be contract responsibilities preparing tender and contract documents. This is a role that will see you building ownership among stakeholder groups, identifying conflicts that emerge and maintaining close relationships with other groups within the organisation.
The successful candidate will ideally be tertiary qualified in an appropriate discipline such as business; marketing, mathematical sciences or health services and have gained significant experience in programme management, implementation, research and evaluation. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to manage and prioritise workloads and be able to demonstrate practical experience in project management.
