The Role
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Parts Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team in Auckland. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the key responsibility of this role will focus on Sales and Service by developing and maintaining product and service knowledge and providing a high level of customer service.
This role includes:
  • Parts interpretation and the effective management of the sales process.
  • Preparation of quotes, purchase orders and other documentation required for buy-in products.
  • Effective communication of customer feedbacks to improve products and services.
  • Inform the Branch Manager of any information on Market, Pricing or Product that may affect sales.
  • Share equal responsibility in increasing team productivity by showing initiative and communicating effectively
  • Assist in delivery and maintenance of the warehouse as required
  • Assist in local representation to improve customer relations and service ( as required )

The Candidate
If you have a solid background in a commercial vehicle industry, thrive on selling and has a knack for spare parts and problem solving, then this role could be for you. The successful candidate must bea team player and has a proven track record in developing good customer relationships.
  • Minimum of2 years experience in Spare-parts sales, preferably Truck or Bus parts.
  • A technical or mechanical background in Heavy vehicle parts will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in Japanese / European commercial vehicle parts is preferred but not essential
  • Possess a strong understanding of the principles customer-service and team-work.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization and time management
  • Good problem solving skills, results-oriented and highly motivated
  • Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude
