Experienced in payroll but looking for a role with a difference? Supporting payroll processes for Auckland Council’s elected members requires the same skills and attributes applicable to a staff payroll – accuracy, speed and a sound background in payroll or finance; but additionally may broaden your knowledge base as the elected members are considered self employed and thus, not employees of Council.
Prior experience using SAP is highly preferred along with good knowledge of MSExcel and Word. Training on the specific detail of the role will be provided so you can ensure all policies and processes are followed. Knowledge of local government would be an advantage.
