Randstads Construction Property and Engineering (CPE) division have a reputation for professionalism in the local market that is second to none. We consider ourselves to be experts in our field with a worldwide network spanning Australasia, Asia Pacific, USA, South America, Middle East and Europe.
The last few years have sorted out the cowboys from the genuine specialists in the industry, and with a lot of positive signs out there, the market is very much moving again. This means we are in growth mode and are looking to start some dialogue with consultants who can add value to our business and will continue to represent our clients and candidates in a professional and ethical manner.
Working with a range of building and civil contractors, engineering consultants, local authorities, SOEs, etc. up and down the country, the CPE divisionhas over 7 years experience to call on and we source locally and offshore for those tough to find candidates. We also have a number of PSAs and long term relationships with some of New Zealands leading construction, property and engineering firms.So, what are we looking for in you? Attitude – the right one; a team player, resilient, confident and keen to learn and have a laugh at the same time; a personality type that is not afraid to pick up the phone and make that call; the desire to work for a global recruitment firm (in every sense of the word) and the drive to develop your career in this exciting and fast-paced industry.
Key to your success will be the ability to maintain client relationships, negotiate with and influence decision makers, source and secure those hard to find skills, juggle 25 things at once and be a natural business developer. Ideally you will have at least 2-3 years experience in recruitment managing a 360 degree desk, or potentially a background in sales with an ability to make things happen. Being KPI driven you will know what it takes to be a success in the recruitment space. A background in construction, property or engineering recruitment would be highly desirable.
