We are looking for an EXPERIENCED FMCG sales rep/account manager, or perhaps just a passionate foodie with a proven success record in both sales and account management.
Franklin Foods Ltd is a privately owned New Zealand business with a wealth of experience as a leading New Zealand based manufacturer and International marketer of core and customised frozen food products.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be representing an iconic household brand throughout the Wellington, Taranaki, and a portion of the Wanganui/Manawatu areas.
You will be dealing with our supermarket accounts along with other retailers of our products.
A strong focus will be placed on your ability to develop long-term relationships with all our customers.
You will be responsible, in conjunction with the National Sales Manager, for the management of one of our organisations key accounts, and as such you will need to build a strong relationship with this client.
In a very competitive food-manufacturing industry, it is important for you to:
  • Have high energy, be dynamic and self-motivated to drive sales and achieve results.
  • Have proven experience in face-to-face sales.
  • Have proven experience in sales and account management.
  • Be able to identify new business opportunities in the market.
  • Have great negotiation skills with a performance-based attitude.
  • Have a strong focus on customer needs.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working closely with a small family-type team.
  • Have good computer skills /experience.
In this role, the following are essentials: –
  • A computer with internet access
  • Reliability
  • Flexibility
  • The ability to have 2 overnight stays away every 2-3 weeks.
  • Wage package will be negotiated at interview, and will depend on skills and experience.
  • A company car will be provided
  • A company cell phone will be provided
  • A monthlyincentive based package will be offered.
