This is a great opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to use and develop their clinical skills and experience to enhance the service provided to our clients and referrers.Based in Highland Park, Te Rawhiti Community Mental Health Centre, services the unique and growing population of East Auckland. Our supportive and cohesive team are dedicated to providing a coordinated response to the clinical needs of our diverse client group.The position is a specialist role involving both Triage and Acute Crisis work. Working closely with the dedicated crisis staff within the CMHC you will work Monday to Friday, rotating between triage duties and the dedicated crisis role.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clinical skills in acute assessment and treatment and will have ability to develop effective working relationships with referrers, the general public and other clinicians.You will be a registered Mental Health Professional with at least three years Community Mental Health Experience. Ideally you will be a qualified Duly Authorised Officer, or be willing to attain a DAO qualification.Essential
