We invite applications from Registered Clinical Psychologist preferably with knowledge of tikanga/kawa o Te Taitokerau and leadership experience to apply for this community based position for the Mid North District.This position provides mental health care to people living with a mental illness across the diagnostic spectrum and may include involvement with the Justice and Forensic Services.As the successful applicant, you will have experience working with people living with the effects of mental illness in our community and a proven ability to communicate well with tangata whaiora/clients, whanau/families and colleagues and engage tangata whaiora/clients in making choices that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing. It is essential you hold a current clean drivers licence and a current practising certificate.The successful applicant will provide a key worker role to a caseload of clients within a supportive team environment of health professionals and cultural advisors that is committed to delivering an excellent clinical and cultural service that reflects the needs of people living in Northland. Part time employment will be considered for the right applicant.
