To be considered – you must have: – Extensive experience in architecture, design & implementation of enterprise level IT storage-related projects.- Either previous pre-sales consultancy experience for a Vendor and/or IT Service Provider, or substantial thought leadership experience within a single large enterprise, and the desire to take the skills you have developed into a Service Provider environment.- Proven knowledge & practical experience across a wide range of technology solutions, with a specialist focus on storage.- Experience in preparing Terms of Reference & Statements of Work, as well as contributing to RFI / RFP creation, response or reviewConsulting, presentation & Pre-sales skills, including the ability to effectively communicate concepts to both business & technical audiences- Lead & manage multiple IT infrastructure assignments across multiple customers.The successful candidate will be expected to provide Pre & Post sales support, design, architecture, consulting & presentations to clients. Your client engagements will focus on Storage & Service Management offerings. Significant interaction with Account Managers is required to achieve sales targets. A desire to operate in all parts of the technical sales spectrum is mandatory & can range from hands on with technology for demonstration/product integration/technical proving activities, through to architectural analysis & design of solution offerings, through to consultative activities.An awareness of IT Service Management concepts is highly desirable. Awareness & experience of process frameworks & standards such as ITIL will be a significant advantage. Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas would also be an advantage in supporting NZ territory: Security Management in particular Identity & Access Management. Storage Management. Asset Management. Service ManagementActively participate in winning Storage opportunities by positioning Storage technology offerings against competitive offerings & assisting sales team in proposing winning configurations.You will position Storage suite to customers, technical, management & executive staff in the context of how to use the technology for business advantage & as a component of broader solutions. It is necessary to be technically articulate both orally & in creating written responses/documentation.
