Housing New Zealand Corporation is the Government agency that helps those New Zealanders in greatest need, access housing for the duration of their need. We are also one of the country’s largest asset managers, responsible for managing over 69,000 properties valued at $15.1 billion, and providing housing for over 200,000 people.Reporting to the National Training Project Manager, we are seeking the expertise of a course developer who is experienced in delivering the resulting solution. Requirements are to design, develop and produce necessary instructional materials to ensure employee’s have the right skills and capability to utilise new systems being implemented by our Enterprise Transformation Programme (ETP) of work. This will see you conduct training needs analysis, develop materials and training scenarios as well as create assessment items and delivering training to Housing New Zealand Corporation staff.Main responsibilities of this role include; developing new course modules for delivery by Face-to-Face classroom, Virtual Classroom or Self-Paced Learning and design of curriculum, defining training objectives, and generating assessments. Plus; creation of materials using tools such as UPK, Snagit and Go To Training. Alongside liaising with various stakeholders across the ETP Project and wider Housing New Zealand Corporation to ensure content and sign off of material is complete.The ideal candidate for this role will be able to clearly demonstrate similar experience within a comparable organisation and the ability to work independently and effectively within tight timeframes.Excellent writing, editing and problem solving skills are essential for the success of this role. The ability to communicate ideas and concepts effectively to a variety of audiences is also required.
