Join our Dairy Food Exporting business in East Auckland!Our dairy export and marketing company is looking for a Business Administrator. We are a small sized but rapidly growing company, selling high quality dairy, nutritional & health supplement products to the Asian market. For over 12 years we have been a market leader in China with our products. Our success comes from Great people and Great Brands.This is an exciting multi-faceted role where you will provide administration and personal assistant support to management, interfacing closely with our manufacturers, suppliers, customers and our big multiple overseas team and partners.You will possess the following skills and undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Business administration including office administration, client & sales administration, marketing & technical administration. Database maintenance & maintenance of information sources, record management & document control
  • Logistics & sales support to companys export & related import business
  • Accounts management, maintaining filing systems & reporting, working practice with MYOB or similar accounting software
  • Acting on behalf and acting as a gate keeper for all incoming calls & correspondence
  • Fluency and confidence in written & conversational English & Chinese, assist with writing & developing marketing resources to support target market needs and brand development, regularly release articles on website & related media
  • Assist product project operation, local & overseas marketing events, website information maintenance & development; other marketing support
  • Work closely with GM and other managers, must always be protective of companys marketing & sales affairs, product and brand
  • Other duties as required

Required skills include:

  • Advanced MS office Suite including PowerPoint & experience working with spread sheets
  • Can work independently, must have high levels of self motivation, self management, highly disciplined work habits
  • Reliable and honest, open and happy personality
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem solving skills are essential.

To be considered you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in a related field
  • A Bachelor degree/diploma in a related discipline
  • Excellent report writing skills (both English & Chinese)
  • A respect for confidentiality, a keen eye for detail, goal focus and an ability to see process improvement
