We are currently accepting applications for the position of Inbound Supply Chain – Shipping Support to assist the inbound department at our Christchurch Head Office. This newly created full time administrative role reports to the Shipping Manager and provides administrative / database support to the Inbound Supply Chain team.

Your previous Freight Forwarding experience will enable you to provide sound support to the Inbound Supply Chain Team, as well as correspond with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.
The main responsibilities will involve:
  • Correspond with Suppliers to ensure no INSPEC issues Bar codes, carton labelling, swing tags, discount stickers, correct carton and quantity in carton
  • Liaise with suppliers around the expected cargo ready date for order shipments
  • Ensure freight forwarder reporting tool is maintained.
  • Documentation to customs broker
  • Ensure EDI packing list correct and processed
  • Export Documentation for transfers
  • Export bookings with freight forwarder
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Minimum of 2 years Freight Forwarding experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Willing to Learn
  • Good team player
