A new position working with one of New Zealands emerging leaders within the construction industry has just opened in Christchurch.This role has an immediate start date!This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager looking to get into a rapidly expanding company and ensure the completion of projects in a timely and exceptional manner.As a multidisciplinary civil contractor our clients project portfolio includes a wide range of commercial construction, industrial and civil infrastructure projects.The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Experience within the construction sector on either commercial, industrial or civil projects.
- A strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders (client, subcontractors, consultants, etc.)
- Direct and lead a team of consultants (engineers, draftsmen) and builders during the construction phase
- Able to provide proactive solutions to any issues regarding construction and preparation of work schedules
- Have a strong understanding of NZ building codes (NZS 3910) and standards
- The ability to produce concise scopes of works during the construction phase
