OceanaGold is currently seeking a Senior Resource Geologist. This position is based at our Dunedin office and reports to the Group Mine Geology Manager. You will be working within a small team to update and improve resource estimates for OceanaGold’s open pit mines and development projects. This will include liaising with our mining and exploration teams, monitoring QAQC, drill hole programme design and report writing.You will need:
- A minimum of five years resource modelling, preferably in gold
- Experience in open pit grade control, reconciliation and QAQC
- Familiarity with JORC and CIM standards
- A background in structural geology would be viewed favourably
- Experience in the design and management of drilling programmes.
