Data Quality Analyst (CBD)
Are you experienced in analysing data for pre-migration cleansing?
There are four roles to be deployed across the organisation both in the CBD and also to other sites around Auckland to support the various data quality requirements of future data migration projects and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
The key functions of your role will be:
- To assist the development, maintenance and implementation a data quality strategy
- Identify areas for data quality improvement and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detections and correction, process control and improvement or process design strategies
- Work with Data Services Manager to establish a data quality methodology documenting a repeatable set of processes for determining, investigating and resolving data quality issues, establishing an on-going process for maintaining quality data and defining data quality audit procedures
- Utilise data profiling and data quality tools over various data sources to uncover and determine root causes of data quality issues
- Execute data standardisation and validation tools including, setup and scheduling periodic updates
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations, be able to work in teams and manage time and projects. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate with all levels and functions of the organisation.You will also be detail-oriented, have good problem solving and research skills and understand the importance and benefits of data quality.Additionally you should be able to work independently and possess strong customer service skills.
