Darby Partners is a multi-disciplinary development planning, design and project management practice based in Queenstown. With a wide portfolio of property projects and some tourism operations this is a busy role covering a large number of companies. This hands on and varied role will support the CFO in ensuring routine accounting functions are performed and management information and commercial advice is provided to Project Managers as required.
This role includes the preparation of financial statements and consolidated reports, preparation of annual statutory accounts and management of external relationships with the companys Tax Advisors to ensure that the companys tax returns are prepared and filed in a timely manner. Budget creation & monitoring and cash flow management are other key performance areas.
Candidates will already hold a senior financial position within the private sector or professional practice and demonstrate strong leadership and team playing abilities, sound financial and systems understanding and a focus on best practice. It is expected that you will have a relevant tertiary and CA qualification, together with significant commercial business experience. Your ability to prioritise work and direct your team in a busy work environment will be key to your success.
