This is your chance to work at a strategic level drawing on your leadership and business knowledge to help support the achievement of Inland Revenue’s transformational journey.Service Design & Implementation designs and builds innovative systems, products and services for IR that ensure targeted compliance outcomes and entitlement uptake amongst IR’s customers. We do this in collaboration with business partners across the organisation.As a Design Portfolio Lead, you take the leadership role for a portfolio of work and ensure the work programme is effectively delivered and key business outcomes achieved. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative user-centric solutions for organisational and legislative change initiatives. You will also provide leadership across the unit including support to your Manager/Group Manager, whilst proactively managing business partner relationships. You may also be required to represent the Group in key business, governance and cross-agency forums.To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in:

  • relationship management at a strategic and tactical level that produces results managing a complex work programme or portfolio of work
  • developing innovative and user-centric solutions that support the achievement of organisational goals and future direction.
