Living Earth owns and operates a state of the art processing facility which processes Christchurch household green waste, producing approximately 40,000 tonnes of organic weed free compost per year. This is utilised primarily by Canterburys strong rural sector.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring site Health and Safety standards are maintained and requirements met and for providing appropriate staff training. Youll also provide day-to-day support to the Production Supervisor and in their absence, provide backup operations support.
Key attributes required include:

experience in a similar environment such as manufacturing, processing or civil environment

team leadership and environmental experience/focus is an advantage

Well developed interpersonal skills

team player who is hands-on with a sense of urgency

current drivers licence with Wheels and Tracks Licence desired

computer literate (Excel and Word).
