Family Planning International is a not-for-profit organisation that works to promote rights and choices so that people can enjoy respectful sexual relationships and create healthy families. Our projects support partner organisations primarily in the Pacific, to provide quality information and services to their communities. Family Planning International is a business unit of Family Planning NZ. We have a vacancy for a Senior Programme Coordinator who will have overall responsibility for aspects of Family Planning Internationals capacity building projects overseas. The successful applicant, based at our National Office in Wellington, will:
- Have proven experience in implementing international development projects
- Have extensive experience in donor-liaison, proposal writing and budget management
- Preferably have knowledge and experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights issues
- Have a tertiary qualification in development studies, public health, nursing or social sciences
- Be available to undertake significant amount of international travel
