The Schools Property Infrastructure Group manages the state school network property portfolio that comprises around 2,300 schools. The group is responsible for delivery property services and functions to support New Zealand’s education system.
The Manager will be responsible for the national systems improvement programme providing improved systems and process to regional property staff. In addition you will lead the national office service delivery team on behalf of the Manager Service Delivery providing national programmes and outputs. As part of the Service Delivery management team you will be responsible for providing high quality service and advice to schools and the regional property teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience and achievement in managing organisational policies and procedures, complex and diverse relationships, and maintaining programmes of improvement works. Given the size of the property portfolio, the mix of stakeholders and the objectives of the work programme, you will need a proven track-record in managing programmes of work including project management. A strong background in property and/ or asset management is essential.
