CLOSING DATE: 15 August 2011 This is a exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join our team at C & C DHB as the Manager of the Quality and Risk Unit. The role is resonsible for leading and supporting Quality and Risk activity within the organisation, coordinating quality resources across the organisation, and providing leadership for the Quality and Risk Unit and support for the Directorate based Quality Managers.The ideal applicant will have An extensive knowledge of quality management systems, service improvement processes and clinical governance frameworks gained through experience as a manager. A proven ability to develop high performing teams, An understanding of performance and reporting frameworks Experience in the successful implementation of systems and process change An understanding of how to develop and sustain an effective quality culture A commitment to supporting the delivery high quality clinical care Experience in, and understanding of, the health sectorA post graduate qualification in a relevant area is desirable.
