My client is looking for a switched on administrator to look after the reception area whilst learning other areas of the business. They are based at the Airport Oaks and specialise in the international freight forwarding industry.

Core duties will include:

- Answering inbound calls

- Meeting and greeting visitors

- Organising deliveries / cartage with transport companies

- Paying shipping and airlines to ensure the freight is released

- Monitoring the arrival dates and holds

- Invoicing and sending out the correct paperwork to the clients

- Finding transhipment details

- Ordering the office supplies

- Opening and disbursing mail

This is a varied role and would suit someone looking for a step up, additional responsibilities and to be shown the ropes of the freight industry.

Key criteria for this role is passion and eagerness to learn but having freight, shipping, logistics or transport experience would be a big advantage.
