Mitre 10 (NZ) Limited is New Zealands leading DIY home improvement retailer and we have a rare opportunity for two talented individuals to join our team.As a key member of our in-house, studio team, you will use your post graduation marketing experience to deliver excellence in the creative production of our various brand related marketing collateral.Reporting to our Marketing Operations Manager you will be involved in: co-ordinating the promotional programme for Mitre 10, Mega and Hammer Hardware; ensuring all promotions are delivered through the appropriate channel and channel/media mix; ensuring any operational impact of a promotion is pre-planned as required with Retail Operations, IT and/or Training; and effective communications with the Merchandise team, stores and external agencies.To be successful you will need to be responsive and flexible to leverage marketing information, increase relevancy and drive effective promotional campaigns.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and mature, with strong time management skills, as this is a very deadline driven environment. You will understand the implications of changes, being able to see the big picture. Superb written and verbal English communication will be a necessity, along with excellent attention to detail and MS Office competency.
