Do you have exceptional leadership qualities with a strong understanding of the Resource Management Act?Are you excited about leading a key group within a progressive Regional Council in a great lifestyle area?Hawkes Bay Regional Council is seeking a positive minded leader to head up Councils Resource Management Group which encompasses the Councils Consents, Compliance and Science sections.As part of a forward thinking Executive team you will need to show high levels of innovation, initiative and critical thinking and be willing to participate in robust decision-making processes. You will be a person who leads by example and brings the best out of the staff you lead.Your knowledge of the Resource Management Act and issues facing Council regulatory functions will need to be strong and decisive while being open to consider alternative and innovative ways of dealing with issues.
