City Contractors are a medium sized, family owned NZ business that values it’s employees and is strong in watermains and road maintenance construction.
We have a position for a motivated Supervisor, working in our roading division and reporting to the Project Manager. You will need to have a can-do attitude and be focused on production and efficiencies, whilst maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Daily tasks will include the coordination of staff and subcontractors, measure ups, collating information and solving problems.A focus on our clients and their requirements is also essential in this role.
A drive and desire to succeed is important as we are looking for people that will make a difference rather than just turning up every day.
Experience in road maintenance and construction is important together with knowledge in traffic control, drainage and other associated activities.
Site Safe and Traffic Control qualifications are desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
You will also need computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook, together with good paperwork and reporting qualities.
